Researchers from the University of Toronto visit PREDIMED-PLUS as a nutritional study model in Europe.

Drs. Cyril Kendall and John Sievenpiper from the University of Toronto have visited the PREDIMED-PLUS Center of Reus to know the difficulties of starting a study like the one that is taking place in Spain. During their stay they could observe in place the field work and talk to the team of nurses and dietitians. They have also been interested in the PREDIMED-PLUS interventions, the tools used, the logistics and the cost in terms of necessary personnel, facilities and other project keys.

Researchers from Canada will begin a powerful intervention nutritional project and precisely that is one of the reasons for their visit in order to get a closer look in how PREDIMED was launched and what difficulties PREDIMED-PLUS has faced in recent years.
